I loved this book just as much as the first book The Weight of Words. We see Sailor and Poppet continue their relationship although they must still keep a secret. Without giving too much away, we see Daniel and Aubrey grow and mature academically, and more importantly, on a personal level. Hats off to Georgina Guthrie as she continues to enrapture her fans with this wonderful love story between two people who respect and love one another enough to keep their distance for the sake of others, and yet find clever ways to keep the fires burning! Readers continue to root for these star crossed lovers, hoping against all odds they will find a way to have it all. If you haven't read this book or The Weight of Words, do so now, as Book #3, The Truest of Words comes out this November! November can't come fast enough for me! This book is much like the first in its series, smart, well written. The characters draw you in and keep you wanting to know more. Thanks to the amazing detail the setting actually becomes such an important part of the book, you will want to visit and feel like you you have been there at the same time This is not your average romance, there is angst, and longing but the pay off is so worth it. I would say this is the best kind of romance to read, without lack of swoon (because there is swoon) the author draws you into the characters deep love of knowledge, you may actually be smarter when you are done. A definite fast read, you won't want to put it down, and I will guarantee you will read it more than once.
What do You think about Better Deeds Than Words (2014)?
