A sweet contemporary romance that features Lark, a young woman who was dumped and has nursed a broken heart, and Mason, the young man that dumped her and disappeared from her life. He returns after four years and begs for a week of dates. Can she learn to trust again, and has he really changed? Will her sisters forgive him, too, if she does? There is plenty of irony in this story as well since she runs a catering business called "Ever After" and has been a bridesmaid or maid-of-honor so many times. Will she ever be the bride? Although I liked the characters,I didn't love them. Lark seemed to be to hungup on herself and to self lothing. She let to much unnecessary drama rule her life. When Mason clearly goes out of comfort zones to prove his love for her,she just shucks him off because of her insecurities. The story is well written and well thought out.I just would have liked to seen more of compassion and less drama.
