I found this book's set up hard to read because I'm not really into comics. I find it easier to read when it's the traditional reading horizontally left to right. I don't want to critique if people prefer reading graphic novels. What I liked about this book was that it showed that if you pick the right friends, then they will be by your side through thick and thin. Before I opened the book, I didnt expect for the illustrations to be in all black and white because the cover was in full color. The end pages were very boring and plain jane because they were just blank white. Over all I didnt really appreciate this book and I wouldnt waste my time reading it again. These "highlights" of Big Nate are definitely funny. Like at Chess Camp, when he falls in love with his opponent in a crucial match, or when he decides to find himself a middle name, or all the games of New Year's Eve Monopoly. News flash, Big Nate is funny! (Heavy sarcasm). "Let's alert the media! Let's call the news paper!" "I can see the headlines now!..." "'Boy, Eleven, Gets Tiny Top Hat Stuck Up His Nose.'"
What do You think about Big Nate And Friends (2011)?
Xander liked this book because of how Nate worked with his friends in the story.
