I nearly dropped the glass when I saw who the email message was from. It was her. I quickly put the phone on the granite surface of my kitchen island and pushed it away from me, as my chest started to heave with the increase in my breathing. A week, a whole week and she hadn’t contacted me on my personal phone. Now she was emailing me on my damn work one? Just as I was about to get personal with her? What the hell?
