Blackbird Knitting In A Bunny's Lair (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
I don't know if this is the last book in the series, but I have loved them all. If you have not read the previous book you make be a little lost, but still an enjoyable read. It makes me wish I knew how to knit, maybe one day I will take it up and try out the wonderful patterns she provides at the end of each book. I think this maybe more useful then when I read books that give recipes. I mean giving recipes can be sort of the norm, but giving knitting patterns with instructions and one for each book. Its a nice twist and thoughtful!!! Three an a half stars. I liked this, but I didn't love it. Maybe it was the headspace I was in, but there seemed to be too much sex...and it didn't feel like the story outside the main relationship progressed so much as lurched. And it was the story outside the main relationship that I wanted more of. I'm still not sure why Rich was present or if Craw got the business back up and running OK...instead there was a lot of Jeremy and Aidan time... Which is good, but it felt repetitive in places. Apart from all that, Amy Lane writes the most beautiful family stories :)
