4.5 starsi will admit, i didnt have high hopes for this, as it was free when i got it, (feb 2014) but HOLY HELL i was surprised!!Winter is a thief, and she works with Sebastian. Both have a secret neither shares, until a job goes wrong and these secrets are revealed, with a knock on effect neither saw coming. Enter Nathaniel or Nial as he likes to be called. A puppet master at the highest level, he needs Winter and Sebastian together for a final job. But all is not as it seems, and will they all survive??not your usual M/F/M vampire storyline, no sir! this one grabs you from the very beginning, and does not let go! i loved Winter and Nial together, and Winter and Sebastian, but the three of them all at once, OFF THE CHARTS!! super hot alpha males, a sassy female and a decent plot line, perfect reading. while it takes a while to warm up to Nial, he is quite cold and appears heartless in the beginning, once he lets some of himself free, he is awesome for Winter and Sebastian. one thing that isnt quite made clear, is Sebastian need for Winter to be close. its only mentioned once and i would have liked that expanded on cos its made very obvious why Winter needs Sebastian, and i think he should have been accorded the same explanation, hence4.5 stars The plot of the novel was interesting; I was intrigued by the description of the book and decided to purchase even thought it was not a stand alone novel. The ending does not leave you hanging too much; which I appreciate-but I would probably purchase the next novel to see where the storyline goes from the ending of this novel. The three main characters are interesting and the intertwining of their storylines was good. I appreciated getting the background a little at a time and not one big exposition chapter. Would recommend.
What do You think about Blood Knot (2011)?
I was not expecting how complex and intriguing the plot would be. Really a great read.
