This is such a beautifully written novel. There are many lessons to be learned from this Christian historical romance. The characters struggle with personal criticism from family members, anger at God, bitterness in their lives, and others demonstrate unending patience, friendship, and total unconditional love....all of today's struggles moved to a previous century, when morals and social customs were much more rigid – reminding us that God remains unchanged. Definitely a great read for anyone of any age. I will definitely recommend this book to all my reading friends. Blowing on Dandelions is a wonderfully written Christian Historical romance. Ms Ferrell shows us of beginning relationships and how they grow, love of family and friends, misunderstandings in families that can harm and/or cripple that family. The 1880's world description is very real. The hot weather, beauty of the area, and living conditions are just a few of the details Ms Ferrell does so well. The loss of a spouse is not easy to deal with but the storyline shows how Katherine and Micah dealt with each of their losses. Katherine turns closer to God and is strengthened by her faith while Micah is full of anger and turns his back on God. God's ability to place others in our lives to help us grow in faith and closer to him is amazing.I look forward to reading more of Ms Ferrell's books.

Typical Insipid Christian Fiction full of cliches. Did not like it.
