Love Finds You In Sundance, Wyoming (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
This is the first of the “Love Finds You” books that I have read. Since I especially like Westerns, I could not have picked a better one to read. I was particularly drawn to the efforts of Angel Ramirez to turn her life around after being raised in an outlaw gang by an uncle after the death of her parents. After escaping from that life, she simply wanted to be herself and not have to keep looking over her shoulder all the time. Although our personal circumstances may not be as drastic as hers, most of us have things in our past that we don’t want others to know. We reach a point when we realize how very tiresome that is and that only the grace of God can free us from it. In the Acknowledgements, the author says she prays that each story she writes points back to her Lord. That should be the goal of everyone who claims to be a Christian. In the case of Miralee Ferrell, I feel she was successful at that with this book. I recommend the book and encourage you to read it. This is one of the first Love Finds You titles by this author that I've actually liked and enjoyed! It was a very engrossing read, and I read it in just a few hours. I loved the "Have faith in God and be true to yourself" message that was ingrained in the story. It was done very tastefully and not in a preachy manner at all. The ending was exciting and the romantic build up was very well done. It was interesting to get a glimpse at ranch life and imagine the beautiful views that could be found in the descriptions. This is one I'll look to pick up on my Kindle!

3.5 stars. The overall story was good but it felt rushed and incomplete.
