Bones Of A Feather (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

Very enjoyable, light entertainment. Great for planes, trains, automobiles or beach. The cover art was very good and complimented the storyline - which I found to be a sort of an adult hat-tip to the Nancy Drew series. Lots of literary bones thrown to famous chic lit of yore. Book was light-weight - printed on newsprint paper maybe? Anyway, very good for toting around. I'll come back to this series again. Fast cars, fast horses, missing jewels, a creepy house and troubled family history - great visuals on this one. Ok, so you have a stolen ruby necklace, the legend of a very despicable man, a scary/haunted house, a ghost riding on a black horse in the middle of the night, a cliff where many deaths have occurred, and a long list of "who done its"!!!!! Scary, entertaining and had me jumping from one character to the other thinking they were in on the scam. I loved it!! Plus, with lines like this..."He was hotter than Chinese mustard on an August day." How could you go wrong!!
