I had a hard time rating this. If i could base my rating on just my opinion it would not be so good. I settle for a 4 for many interesting reasons.#1 And this is most important … the story served its purpose as a short erotic novel. Regardless of the plot, the details and character development. The sex was hot and will put anyone in a good mood, if you know what i mean. #2 i wasn't completely lost. I had enough information to keep me in the loop. #3 the plot itself had a lot of potential to become more. It reminds me of the Trek Mi Q'an series by Jaid Black. OAN: I despise short books. I like to read for more than just a good sex scene and a happy ending. I need enough from a book to get lost in the words. This was definitely not my thing but it wasn't bad either. 2.5 RatingI was really hoping for more of a story, but it was short and to the point. We see the demons/aliens/other species first mating with their human mate, then we are fast forwarded to the future. I was curious to see how the human (which I found was an interesting side note that Earth had been destroyed and the human race was all but extinct) would survive on such a hot planet. Yes, she was taken underground to live in caves where it was cooler, but how did she thrive in such a place? She needed fresh air and sun - unless humans had evolved and no longer needed that. Still, I liked the writing and I'm looking forward to reading a longer book from this author.
What do You think about Breed Her (2014)?
Really good book. I'm hoping that this is the beginning of a series. Hades is hot & so are the men!!
