After the shocking ending of book #3, I wasn't sure how the author was going to carry this one forward but she kept the suspense going and adding more twists to the plot besides. I don't rate many books as 5 stars but this one kept me up all night reading! I am so hooked on this series, have gone through 2 in the last two days and working on the 5th one too. I tried to keep my laughter quiet in deference to those who were around me, but I just couldn’t hold in the laughter at many points.(I read this one as part of the 4-book bundle that contains books 1-4)Book 4 – Brilliant DevicesClaire and her friends and adopted family finally make it to the Canadas after a few more harrowing adventures and obstacles. Assassination attempts on the Count Von Zeppelin’s life imperil their lives as well. Throw in sabotage and trickery, and it’s another book of adventures and ingenious solutions.
