A fun colorful book told by a police bug about how to treat each other and use manners. The book is told in a fun way that kids will be receptive to. The bug patrol calms tempers, settles down "rowdy" ants, handles bullies and saves a flea among other things. This fun, comical book describes a day in the life as a busy policeman who happens to be a bug. A kids will have fun chanting; "Wee-O! Wee-0! Wee-O! Woo! Bug mobile coming through." I'm an ECE student in my second to last year, so I'm scrambling to find material to build a library before I dive in to teaching. Bug Patrol is spectacular. There's rhyming, sound effects, tons of potential for science related tie-in activities, and the "Wee-o! Wee-o! Bug Mobile coming through!" is a repeated sentence in the book that kids will love to repeat with you.Bug Patrol is a must for ECE teachers and for parents with young children. Plus the the illustrations are too adorable-colorful and unique.
