Well so much for the Bourne Identity thing haha I had picked this because in class someone had reference it towards that. I wanted to get my hands on it, and I suppose when I did I feel like I shouldn't have. I did like the book, it had it's positive and negative points on me. The positive is that it was humorous and I did get a kicked out of it. Negative, because I thought it was going to be serious action-packed book. I would recommend this book to my nephew, who is about 15 years old. I think he would probably like it, but nowadays kids don't read much. They rather just play league of legends haha. I rated this book only two stars because of my disappointed. I felt like this story and characters had so much potential. Could have gone further, but just didn't quite cut it for me. Warnings: Violence is present, because what do you expect from a crazy European chick haha. Shooting and fist fighting are in the book. Sexual references has been mentioned in the book. Mild language is present and the mention of alcohol is in the book, however the hero, Perry does not drank, but sits at the bar haha This book is about a fairly normal teenage boy who's parents want the best for him. They seem to like to give back to the community so they have a foreign exchange student come in from Europe. She seems to be normal and seemingly not bright or pretty. In the end it turns out she is a trained assassin who has came back to New York to avenge her sisters death. The boy and exchange student start to like each other by the end of the book but will he ever get to see her again after the one night? This book was enjoyable considering I do not like reading books. What made it interesting is how much action and twists to the book. A hard part about having so many twists and so much action the reader gets lost. But this book is an easy read and doesn't to seem to have any dull moments its a true page turner. One thing I thought was a little weird was the age gap between the boy and women(exchange student). I think a wide variety of people would enjoy this book. I was hesitant at first because it kinda seemed like a girly book by the cover. But turns out I would recommend it to all that are into action twists and surprises on every page.
What do You think about Bye Bye, Crazy Chick! (2011)?
The best part of this book was using college entrance essay prompts as chapter titles.
