The Fallen: 5 out of 5 stars! Loved this first book. I'm in love with the main character and I enjoyed all the introductions into the Fallen, Nephilims, etc. My heart hurt in those last few chapters Leviathan: 4 out of 5 stars! Loved the adventure and the mystery in this one. It's great to see Aaron slowly growing into his powers. But I could have done without all the gruesome descriptions I couldn't get myself to finish this. Having it lying around for a couple of years should have tipped me off that I should have thrown it away. Possibly burned it. I get the style Sniegoski chose to write in - I just hate it. It makes the characters seem dull and superficial despite them being thousands of years old angels. The story is fine and dandy but the execution is terrible. How this made the bestseller list I have no idea.
