Engelstraum: Schatten Der Ewigkeit (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
The plot was good, and the writing was up to my expectations for this genre. While I did thing the characters was were good, I didn't connect with them, so that was a drawback.Okay, now onto the things that I didn't like that depend only on how biased I am. I know the cover has nothing to do with the story, but I hate it. Seriously, a half naked guy with a cape? Secondly, I am sick of vampire-angel love stories. This trend has got to stop. Unless you've got an epic story in mind, and a vampire-angel love just perfectly fits into your epic story, then please use something else. If I wasn't so sick of vampires, I would have loved this book much more. I struggled with this. Was really loving the first few chapters and then both of the MCs started really getting on my nerves. I felt that the "world" was easy, but the plot got really repetitive...like the same thing over and over and over again. The "bad guy" was kinda ridiculous and had dumb intentions for being the bad guy. My favorite character was Sam; will probably, eventually, read his story. Hope his book is the next in the series.

It was way short but i truly enjoy it. Books about an angel are amazing.
