Cassandra Clare: The Mortal Instrument Series (3 Books): City Of Bones; City Of Ashes; City Of Glass (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
July 9th 2014I love Cassandra Clare's books! I have Clockwork Angel, Prince and Princess (really good, historical mixed with fantasy) and I have City of Bones, Ashes, Glass, Fallen Angels and Lost Souls. I'm rereading the whole series to work my way up to her latest book, City of Heavenly Fire.I'm only up to City of Glass though. Some of my friends have read it and they say it's full of surprises! Can't wait for Cassandra Clare's new series, Dark Artifices to come out! I loved these books!! They had an original plot that combined mythology and religion with the supernatural which I found incredibly interesting. Clary was very likable as a main character and I enjoyed the romance scenes which served to break up the action. However, the whole incest/romance thing was a little weird. I figured that it would resolve itself (which it did), but it still was bothersome. I would recommend this book for more mature readers, as sexuality, religion, etc. were addressed. I do have to say the book was a bit more "feminine" so I don't know how boys would like it. But the books moved at a perfect plot pace so I couldn't stop reading.
What do You think about Cassandra Clare: The Mortal Instrument Series (3 Books): City Of Bones; City Of Ashes; City Of Glass (2010)?
