This is a fantastic book for either a silly storytime or a storytime about cats.The cats are about to reveal some of their secrets, but first they must find out if their viewers are cats are not, so they put the readers to various tasks. The last task is to see if the viewers can take cat naps. They are so good at it that they never get around to divulging any secrets.This is a fun, interactive book. The three year old I read this too was a little confused when I told him we couldn't read this book because we were not cats. He finally relented and "meowed" a bit so that I could read him the book. Once we got into reading it he then followed the story prompts and made all of the other animal sounds and reenacted all of the actions to my amusement. I must say he is a far better actor than I will ever be.
