Oh book two, and it continues! Again the "Mind games" were rampant and fun. I have read how people complained about the language and saying words were misspelled. If you are a true romance reader and lover then you should know that is how they spoke waaayyy back then. Definitely not like they do now. But, this was also a page turner, enjoyable and a nail bitter. Pushed to finish this book in 2 days, just like book 1. Not having read the first book of the Celtic Steel series, I was a tad worried that I may be lost or confused by starting with book 2. But my fears were unfounded as the prologue did an excellent job of catching me up to speed and introducing me the characters. Before I knew it, I was swept along in this grand tale of fantasy and reality, totally sucked in by the engaging story and impressed by the excellent writing. I truly felt transported to another time and place, and didn’t want to ever leave. For me that is the highest praise I can give a book. This novel does work well as a stand alone, however I loved this book so much I am going to get the first one right now and read the series all the way through! Fans of fantasy, adventure, romance, historical fiction, or anyone who just enjoys a fantastic read will love this book. Highly recommend!
What do You think about Celtic Shores (2012)?
Good story but left with a clift hanger that I really don't care for.
