Leah has never had an easy life. When she was little she was always taking care of herself because her mom cared more about drinking and hooking up with men then being there for her daughter. One day her mom comes home and tells her that life is going to be changing what she meant is life was going to be changing for Leah. Her mom gets pregnant and doesn't take care of her baby brother any more than she took care of her. So Leah is determined to make sure her brother's childhood is better than hers ever was. During this time Leah meets Allie the woman who will become her best friend and the person who tries to push her to have more in her life. Allie is constantly trying to get Leah and Chase to meet but this only happens in their own time. This is a great story about the love of family, the strength to fight for something more than you ever have before, and never to give up on the chance for true love. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. This was a great story of strength and love between Leah, Caleb and Chase. Leah is in college trying to hold down a job and take care of her 3-year old brother Caleb, left in her care after her drunk mother takes off. She is making things work and doing a bang up job of it alone, until she meets Chase.Chase is the resident hottie that lives across the hall, full of tattoos and plays in a band. Leah has no time for Chase in her busy life, but he doesn't take no for an answer. You can't help but pull for Chase to break through to Leah and win her heart. He is the epitome of bad boy on the outside, but a mush ball on the inside. She has such a wall around her heart, it takes a lot of work for somebody to get to it.This was a good story, some typos, I usually don't let that distract me too much from reading it. There is a bit of a cliffhanger ending, but the second book is out already so I didn't mind that either.
What do You think about Chasing Leah (2012)?
Eh, it was ok. Lot of typos that spell check could've easily fixed.

The phasing of the story was a bit slow and boring. Whew.
