Chasing Morgan (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

A fast enjoyable read for those that like a little romance with a little bit of mystery. I was under the impression that although this is book 4 in a series it could be read as a standalone. I was looking forward to reading this and jumped right into it. Although the Arthur did give insight into the characters from previous books I still felt a disconnect to the characters. Morgan is an isolated pyschic due to her being so sensitive to people's emotions and energy. Morgan has helped Sam and Tyler (FBI) for years with cases only under certain conditions. The unique situation has worked until she is outed at a press conference. Tyler has had a special connection to Morgan and she is always on his mind. The friendship gets tested and lives are on the line. In this one Tyler was almost as stupid as Cameron in the last book. I'm glad that it didn't go on for the whole book, instead we had Tyler's pissy attitude about Morgan and her abilities. I really loved how protective Jack and Sam were with Morgan, both of them even took Morgan's side over Tyler's, at time keeping her away to protect her. Seeing the Turner twins come to terms with what Morgan could do was fun.The ending was great, with a HEA for everyone!
