The idea of a man suddenly becoming Santa Claus, but only one day a year, intrigued me, and the words just poured out of me from there. The magic of the North Pole, the magic of the idea of Santa Claus, was so much fun to play with because really, there were no limitations. It ended up being something I’m incredibly proud of because it truly gave me back that magical feeling of Christmas that I had when I was a kid.The book wouldn’t have come about without some special people.
