Memang, banyak yg bilang jangan terlalu berekspektasi yang tidak-tidak, inilah yang didapatkan, kekecewaan.Saya suka ide fantasinya, serupa tapi tak sama kyk The Spiderwick Chronicles, tapi cara Rachel Roberts menuliskannya terlalu kekanak-kanakan. Padahal di belakang bukunya ada tulisan "Novel Remaja" ..... *diamsejenak*Penjelasannya juga ada yg sulit dipahami di beberapa tempat, sehingga saya harus membacanya 2x biar mengerti. amazing book!!the first time i knew Avalon existed was around 7 years back, when i first caught sight of the fourth book of the series, in my school library. i gave it a shot and absolutely loved it. ever since then i have been wanting to get my hands on the rest of the series and start right at the begining. i finally got the circles in the stream and i wasn't disappointed at all. it is as beautiful and captivating as i thought it would be. yes, it probably is a little childish and the language is very simple but that does not affect the story. the tale starts with a bang and keeps you wanting for more with every turn of a page. i cant wait to grab the rest of the remaining 11 parts. 4 stars. :)
