While City of Fallen Angels was immensely frustrating with none of Cassandra Clare's redeeming factors, City of Lost Souls was immensely frustrating with many of Cassandra Clare's redeeming factors. The witty dialogue was back and the characters that I barely recognized from CoFA made a reappearance. CoLS had a lot more romance and a lot more confusion. I found myself actually liking Sebastian and that made it harder and more confusing to hate him. Jace and Clary's relationship was still annoying and confusing and frustrating. Clary was as stupid as ever and the background characters really had a chance to shine.I liked the writing style of this book. The POVs jumped around quickly and didn't give me a chance to get bored with any one character. I look forward to reading the last book in the series, City of Heavenly Fire, and finally finishing this frustrating, yet compelling series.
What do You think about City Of Lost Souls (2012)?
It's so so perfect. I love it, and I'm sad because the story ends.
