I found this amongst my kindle books, and it was absolutely lovely!This is a short story that teaches a lesson. It's about safe sex. I had no idea what it was about, but the title was interesting. It follows two gay teenage boys in Asheville, who enter a coffee shop where condoms are being handed out. I think it's important for everyone to read this. It's nothing I haven't heard yet, but I think it's a good reminder. Not just for gay people, but for everyone. The writing was amazing. The characters were quirky and felt real, even though it was very short. The story was sweet and impactful. I definitely recommend this! I love the message of this story. Well, more than one message, but the primary one being safe sex. I love that Billy cared enough about Dave to make sure he knew how to be safe and how important being safe is. And I love that Billy took the time, as much as it must have hurt for him to do so, to sit Dave down and talk about a very real scenario and what he should do if confronted with it. Who knows what kind of trouble Dave could have gotten himself into had it not been for Billy? Another message I fully support is spreading knowledge and awareness of safety and risks. This is a wonderful addition to a needed and fantastic project.
