I really wanted to enjoy this more than I did. It had cute moments here and there, but also a lot of over the top ridiculous no one is that dumb moments, with a dash of "ugh why are they doing that?". I am super happy to read something other than wolf/bear/cat shifter. But I'm getting real sick of hating all the female characters in m/m books, it can't all be internalized misogyny. Monica was so out of line it's unbelievable, she got better in the middle, but of course that was so she could be the required incubator so the MCs can have a baby. Blech. I really just wish this was cute and lighter fluff. I can't believe how much I don't like Seth. I can't tell if he's a wuss or just an ass. He spent every page not believing what was right In front of him, in Chicago with Michael or Possum Kingdom with Dustin. I just started shaking my iPad wanting his to wake and smell the forest. Everything else about this book I loved and I do love my shifters. When he got his stuff together was when the book started to rock. Eden Winters created a world I loved and wanted to spend more in. Monica was one of the strongest female characters I've read in a while. What a lovable ball-buster! Fun!
