Comment Sauver Un Vampire Amoureux (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
Considering the first book was Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, shouldn't this have been Jessica's Guide to Ruling the Dark Side? Although I did think the title on the first book was way too light and not really suitable for the content. Anyway. I guessed fairly early on who was to blame for what happened. I found this book as interesting and generally good as the first, although less intense - which was okay by me. There was also less romance, which was also okay because at some point I would have gotten tired of it. I would have wanted to actually see the rest of that final scene with Mindy, Ylenia and Ranerio. The switching points of view were interesting, I think that worked quite well. At first I thought Mindy's slightly ditzy voice was a bit overdone but once I got used to it, it was fine. Although 'couldn't of'? Seriously? :S There is so much I could write about how much I disliked this book. I could point out all of the problems, the annoying characters, the complete stupidity of a certain character, the way that things made no sense the way they happened, etc. but really, there is no point in that. I didn't have high expectations to begin with. I expected a story that was at least partially thought out. Had it been I would have given 2, maybe even 3, stars! I'm sorry for all the negativity but I'm not sure what sparked in my mind to cause me to read this. The worst part- it doesn't even end!!! It just stops and doesn't provide the information of the basis and motivation of why she worked to save her husband, at least beyond him being her husband. I hope that doesn't mean there will be a third book...Alright, I apologize for being so completely rude in this review but I just...I don't know. It is what it is, I guess.
What do You think about Comment Sauver Un Vampire Amoureux (2011)?
not bad for a YA book. The first one was better.
