What can I say. The story start a little slow, however I think that is necessary in order to understand our heroes. I love romantic stories that has some deep. This one is very good, it is very well developed, flows naturally. The characters are lovable, they are just great. If you feel the need to read something romantic and hot and with something more than just sex. This one is very good. A MUST READ. A truly enjoyable read. I don’t often choose historical romances. Nothing against them, I just usually pick something else. I purchased Kindred Hearts because of the author. Rowan Speedwell tells a good tale. This book is no exception. Tristan Northwood is a rich, spoiled man who lacks purpose in his life. He married because he has to get married. Then along comes his brother in law, Charles Mountjoy, and Tristan slowly becomes the person he was meant to be. Of course there is still a lot of drama for the couple to get through. Speedwell does a great job of recreating the era for the reader and telling a fine story.
