Not only that, but when he came over the night before, he asked me to be there to watch him play too. In fact, he said that he wouldn’t go out on the field unless I showed up. I’m scared to find out what he wants to talk to me about, but with him looking at me that way, his eyes so bright and the tiny smirk on his face, I’m comforted enough that whatever it is, it’s not bad.
