Le sigh.I understand that stupidity is a necessary device in the delicate angst-to-sweet ratio of plot development, but Asa's level of stupidity was just a smidge out of proportion. Said stupidity was not entirely relieved by the cute familial Blaecleah (and I mean, I really had a hard time with the spelling here, but tried to get over myself) bond and the hot and pretty sex.So, a three. But I'm off to read the next in the series, for what it's worth. I'm hopeful but my eye is jaundiced. I liked the story and am a fan of Stormy Glenn, but there are some awful typos in Cowboy Easy beginning with the first paragraph where Lachlan slams on the "breaks" - I checked to make sure this was not an Americanism for "brakes", but no. Then there is the chapter that ends with "spin" instead of the appropriate word "spine". My observation is that Siren Publishing seem to have lax editorial standards based on what I have seen in this and other works I have read.
What do You think about Cowboy Easy (2011)?
I give this book 3 1/2 stars it was a good read..
