Julian, Dave, Cooper and Tim continue their quest for freedom from the Caverns and Creatures Universe that they were unceremoniously thrown into by Mordred, the Cavern Master. In Critical Failure 2, this unlikely band of adventurers are introduced to an entire clan of folk who suffered their same fate. The group bands together, sort of, to try and find a way out of the C&C universe and return home. Wait a minute, what happened to Katherine and Chaz? What are you waiting for? Crack open the book and find out!I do have to issue a slight warning before recommending Beven’s work. This book will be most appreciated by D&D players, specifically D&D players who appreciate good old fashioned toilet humor. Enjoy! I've been looking forward to this for so long, and was not disappointed. Admittedly, it starts off a bit more slowly than the previous books, but then it's not a short story, so that's probably to be expected. Pretty soon all hell is breaking loose - in the end, I finished this in a single evening, laughing like a loon for more of the time. When I say that our heroes' new masterwork weapon is a giant wooden dildo, you should get the picture...Also, a cliff-hanger ending, so I presume that a third installment is on its way..? I can't wait!
