As long as Israel has a border dispute with the Palestinian territories, this book will continue to be relevant. I didn't know anything about the issue before reading this book and I still don't after, to be honest, but I really enjoyed the mundaneness that mixed with the super serious and precarious aspects of the accounts of people living there. Christians, Jews, Muslims, NGOs, Observers...so many different factions in this story and so much tension.I read this book between late July-mid August and it could not be any more relevant and informative to the things going on right now. Se acabó este libro que me cuenta la historia de un Israel que no conocí, historias de palestinos, colonos, expatriados que de haber tenido oportunidad de conocer me hubiera gustado mucho. Ese lado de Israel de las noticias desde el punto de vista de alguien que vive el conflicto por los dos lados. Y con ese toque de cualquier año judío que me hace reír ante la mismas hilarantes situaciones con las que yo me encontré viviendo en Santilandia. Disfrute mucho este libro.
