This is the perfect short story to read on a cold night.Jamie is from the small town of Woodfalls and is returning home for Christmas. Grant is also on the same flight as her, on his way home too. Jamie had a huge crush on him growing up but Grant did nothing but tease her. She was happy to leave her hometown after Grant start dating a girl and Jamie felt heart broken.After a mechanical issue with the plane they were both on they end up on a road trip together in a snow storm and all those familiar feelings come back to both of them. Will Jamie finally be able to tell him how she feels and will Grant realise that it is her he wanted all along? So I had thought I'd read all of the books from the 12 NA's of Christmas but then I saw this on my kindle. I was pretty wary because after having read the other ones I realized these stories weren't really my thing. I went into this one with trepidation. Luckily it was the best of all of them. Sure there was still overly described sex scenes that I would have preferred to be less of a major feature. But at least the characters had a back story. I didn't love the female MC because she took herself too seriously. Plus, there was the whole pain medicine makes the heroine say to much plot device that always feels like an easy out for me. But it was a little cuter and a little sweeter than the others of this series so it wasn't a complete miss like the others I read.I realized that I have read a book by this author before but it was a YA book. I guess why this one was a little better was that it matched my taste for sweeter/ cuter versus the others that were more edgy and darker.
3.5-4 stars I would knock 1.2 a star just because the ending (though complete - was super abrupt)
