I loved how this story progressed and how the writer gave the information slowly as the characters discover who they are and what their purposes are. They discover who the bad guy is in this book and he is scary. I felt so bad for Mark especially when the bad guy is revealed. He and Krista begin to understand their connection and accept it as the wonderful thing that it is. I can't wait to read the next book! This book was filled with so much fun and love that it could be called a sappy romance novel, but there are good action scenes within it that just made me drool. The link between Krista and Mark grew more with each kiss and touch that they shared that you obviously could not keep from smiling.I also love how the whole gang together is so funny and caring. One minute they will be playing in the ocean then the next the protectors will be there for the guides effortlessly.Another thing that caught my interest was Haniel their archangel. He was so loving but yet the way he did not understand some human jokes just left me laughing and falling in love with is character. Also it was cool to meet the other guides. The way they reflected Krista's group was amazing and their links and interactions just captivated me.The ending came though and Mark leaving ripped my heart out. I sat there quietly crying to myself for like ten minutes before forcing myself to continue.I definitely recommend this book. Off to see Mark and Krista reunited!
