3.5 starsI have had this book sitting on my shelf for awhile and abou of books 9.0 was the perfect excuse to pick it up and finally read it. Cum Laude wasn't the best book I have read but it wasn't the worst. It just followed around a bunch of college kids as they partied, drank and did drugs. Is that how university/ college is in the states? Haha. That's not how my college experience was at all. I wasn't connected to the characters or the story. This was just an easy, no- Brainer book. I think I would recommend this book to someone who didn't want to think what they were reading and just wants to veg out. I mean it wasn't as bad as everyone else said it was. It paled in comparison to Gossip Girl, but it was pretty decent. The one thing that irked me though was that Shipley kind of just settled for Tom. First off he really flew off the handle. And she was all up in Adam's arms and had a dramatic goodbye only to drive away in a van with Tom.I thought some foreshadowing in the crush Eliza had on Nick could have been added. Shipley was obviously the main character, but they chose to make it through the points of view of four people, and then Shipley's brother and Adam's brother who were minor, but got some key moments.
wild and fun. a lot of F word. Can't wait to read Gossip Girl series :))
