She was worn out. Another cabin cleaned, another day done. She stared out at the late afternoon sun sparkling on the lake and smiled. She might be exhausted, but she was paying the bills. If she kept picking up cleaning contracts the way she had been doing, she might soon be able to hire someone to help. It was the tail end of the busy tourist season now though.
