John liked her and gave her a kiss that set her body on fire. A kiss that made her toes curl. If she was being truthful with herself, she felt it in more places than her toes. Her body was still reeling. She’d never been affected this much by a kiss before. It was amazing and terrifying all at the same time. This was real trouble because she was falling fast and hard. Oh, brother. Sleep was not her friend and after a restless night, Stephanie gave up. So what. She was up at five in the morning. At least she got to see the sun rise over the ocean. How many people could look out their window every morning and see that? So her morning consisted of sitting on the back deck of the house and watching the sun slowly peak over the horizon. Well, not exactly. It was spent with her eyes constantly looking toward the patio doors that led to John’s kitchen. Pathetic. The rest of her day consisted of cleaning her tiny apartment. Which took all of thirty minutes because she had cleaned like a lunatic yesterday.
