Prince Daric Carvillius a vampire healer, the most powerful being on earth. He had long ago given up the idea of finding his destined mate. He doesn't like the idea of taking blood from humans finding it repulsive and distasteful. Try's to satisfy his desire by ordering food. One this night it's pizza and allot if it. Hannah Temple inherits the only pizza place in town. Decides to deliver pizza to Daric in a blizzard instead of losing her best customer. And this is where the love story begins. He realizes that she's his destined to be his mate. I love this book the most outbid this series. Read the series. You won't be disappointed. I couldn't give this last title in the Vampire Coalition set a full five stars because it starts out so slow. There's about three or four pages where the heroine is reminiscing about her father and her ex-boyfriend. I don't think that should have been eliminated completely because it shows her character BUT this is a short story so too much was wasted by going into such excruciating detail about her past. The time could have been more efficiently spent with developing the couple's relationship. Other than that, it was still a great read. That portion just made me like the story instead of love it. Too bad. :(
