What do You think about Dark Bites (2014)?
A good collection of Sherrilyn Kenyon novellas that can sometimes be pretty hard to find. It was very nice to catch up on some of the Dark Hunter Universe stories, although truthfully, most of them aren't really necessary to understanding the whole story arc. I did really enjoy Fury's story though. The downside to these stories though is that Kenyon writes better at full length...too many of her characters have a lot of torture in their past and the short stories don't give them enough time to believably overcome that. (Think of Velkan and Fury who come into their stories horribly betrayed by their women and within the space of 100 pages have completely forgiven them...eh) I really enjoyed the non-dark hunter stories as well. My favorite was the one with the colorblind computer programmer, but I couldn't help wondering how he was able to drive if he couldn't see the color of the stoplights...A good read. I'm glad I read it.

Rating: 3.5 starsSome short stories I really enjoyed others I liked but never really got that into. And one I hated (House of the Rising Son) which is a short story about Styxx and Beth back when they were Aricles and Bathymass, I personally have had enough with Styxx and Beth's back story I mean at least 600 pages of Styxx's book was back story I really didn't need to read a short story with another 100+ pages of their back story. Anyways as a whole I enjoyed reading Dark Bites but not as much as I thought I would.

I loved the stories! One problem though, they were too short!
