Dark Summer (Witchling Series) (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
Aha! That's the first thought that came to mind after I finished this book because looks like I truly had re-read this story loooong time before, maybe on wattpad? I only remembered the (super cliffy and heart-broken) ending vividly. It left me hanging for quite a while because at that time the second book hadn't come out yet. So when I read this again knowing the next two books were already available.. Well, let's just say I alreay had my hands on the second book right at this moment haha :) Probably because the current cover was so different compared to the last time I'd seen the previous one. I don't know what I expected from this story, but what I read was totally unexpected. I loved it. Summer didn't know she was a witchling, she just thought she was an orphan freak until she was sent to a special school for witchlings to learn more about their special abilities. there she meets Beck and Decker. Beck is handsome and everything she is looking in a man, except he already has a girlfriend who likes to cause trouble. Decker on the other hand, is dark and mysterious and his path is already chosen for him.The ending will shock you, but don't panic, it isn't the end. The next book will reveal what happens. I just have to read it now to find out myself!
