Santiago and Nefri were just okay. i didnt think their romance was that good. Roke and Sally was much better and they were the secondary characters. that was my only reason for finishing the book becauase i was totally bored with santiago and gais. if you have read the series you probaly need to read this and if you are planing on reading Rokes book. but just be prepared to be bored half the book. very good book. since this is the tenth book in the series and the first I started with, it did not leave me confused and adding a lot of questions. the story has quite a few characters and view points but was easy to follow. the characters are great and I love that the hero was not all macho and wouldn't let the heroine do anything. she was very strong in her own right and wouldn't let anyone walk all over her. great read. Will read the rest of the series.
