Daughters In My Kingdom: The History And Work Of Relief Society (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
I wanted to read this one again to review all that it said about Relief Society and the women of the church. It was great to bring the focus of how much women in the church and the world do. We can be an example of light to the world, each one individually. I like that concept. We don't have to influence everyone but we do need to use our sphere of influence to bring truth and light into the world. This book is beautiful, organized, inspiring and very accessible. The Relief Society organization is an impressive one and this book offers a thorough, honest, and interesting read regarding it's history, purpose, leadership, and role in the LDS church as a whole. I enjoyed it and felt eager to be a more involved member of the Relief Society. I will definitely be using this book in trainings and lessons over the years!
