De Bourne Misleiding (2009) - Plot & Excerpts

This book was a action thriller and I really liked it. The main theme of the book Is what Bourne finds out to be some kind of spider web linking everything each character does to the next character where in the end they are all brought together into one big battle (you’ll have to read to find out who won the battles). The book starts off informing you about the characters and their lives thought the book. When reading you will find out that this book is setup like your jumping from character mind to the next characters mind over and over with some points that are like you’re the actual person. There are some very important ideas in this book about actual governments and some of the fake info about them and how they can get corrupted and other things like that. This book is the first I’ve read from the Jason Bourne series and I really liked it. Van Lustbader is definitely not Robert Ludlum. He may use the same character names and backstory, but fails to craft the plot with the same skill as Ludlum. Van Lustbader over uses trite expressions - how many times in one book can you goggle someone? Has he ever met Roget? The fight scenes read like ten years ago he watched a movie in slow motion and is attempting to recall the action. An all around disappointment. The Deception is reading the book expecting Robert Ludlum.

What do You think about De Bourne Misleiding (2009)?

Excellent read. In the Ludlum tradition, Van Lustbader turns out another exciting Bourne novel!

Pretty good story, but nowhere near as good as the earlier Bourne books.
