A nondescript gray, the two-story building, comprised of brick and mortar, stood back from the street and shared its parking lot with the public library. Parking spaces unoccupied by town personnel were generally occupied by tourists choosing to ignore the Municipal Building and Library Parking Only—All Other Vehicles Will Be Towed signs.
