This is a very good serie, i've read all six books and all of them are very good quality.Pros:An intelligent storyline complicated and quite unpredictable(if at times using ghosts as Deus ex machina a little bit too often), good characters that if they are sometimes extreme, they are nonetheless believable. Everything is quite beliavable, dialogues and actions are quite realistic which is great.Cons:-The worldbuilding is a little bit poor and thin and the politics of it are sketchy at best, and considering most books have a lot of politics in it that is a major fault. (Rusland?! what stupid name is that?)- Bad characters are not much bad. They're not scary enough. Also demons are used a little bit too much as an excuse to justify evilness.- sometimes the holes between a book and the other are just too big and few phrases here and there are not enough to fill the emptiness of what happened I have to say I think this was the best so far. There was a great story and some great action. I'm loving the relationship that is brewing with John Creed. I think it could go places. He accepts who she is and even helps her with gadgets and missions. It's good that Bruno has apologized, but I don't believe he will change. As Celia said he is used to the female being at home raising the kids and running the house not running around fighting demons and protecting lives. I'm glad that Celia has accepted the apology and they are going to be friends, it's good she hasn't accepted him back. Maybe a menage. Especially if the guys can work together.I love all the gadgets that the magi come up with and I'm also really enjoying all the different mixes of paranormal. Siren's, demon's, vampires and wolves. I'm love all the different faction's that Ms Adams is involving in her stories. The Catholic church is involved with Matty being around a lot, but also the Archbishop and Vatican was a helping factor in this novel. The vice president showed up and helped co-ordinate the final battle. I also liked the different things that were going on. Not just the demon part. The history about the Pagan land rights, the history of Atlantis seen in a different light. It not being sunk at the bottom of the ocean but shifted dimensions. Her mum going where she needs to be to get better. Her gran moving out of the house into assisted living and all that entails. Keeping us up to date with everyone from the previous stories.A wonderful story teller and fantastic imagination.Going to start The Isis Collar. Book 4
