Another easy reading paranormal adventure with Celia Graves. Again not the best books in the world, but entertaining enough to keep going with the series. Celia and friends are still targets of evil beings. Although in this book, it's not Celia who is the main target, but John Creede. Out of all the characters in the series, I like Creede the best. Most of the characters are pretty flat and boring, Creede being no exception, but there is just something about him that makes him different. The love triangle between Bruno, Creede and Celia was exciting at first, but now it's just weird. It takes a couple of very special guys to see Celia with the other when she's trying to be "fair". Well, life isn't fair and she is going to have to make a choice eventually. I think it's amazing that both guys have that much patience to deal with Celia jerking them both around. It was getting a little annoying and hopefully it resolves but it probably won't because that is what keeps the romantics coming back. Drama and love triangles. Ugh. Overall 3 out of 5 stars for entertainment value but nothing too deep oe meaningful. This is a very good serie, i've read all six books and all of them are very good quality.Pros:An intelligent storyline complicated and quite unpredictable(if at times using ghosts as Deus ex machina a little bit too often), good characters that if they are sometimes extreme, they are nonetheless believable. Everything is quite beliavable, dialogues and actions are quite realistic which is great.Cons:-The worldbuilding is a little bit poor and thin and the politics of it are sketchy at best, and considering most books have a lot of politics in it that is a major fault. (Rusland?! what stupid name is that?)- Bad characters are not much bad. They're not scary enough. Also demons are used a little bit too much as an excuse to justify evilness.- sometimes the holes between a book and the other are just too big and few phrases here and there are not enough to fill the emptiness of what happened
