I enjoyed this book. The first part of a three part trilogy (best of the three) sees Derick Storm (a character talked about on the television show Castle) come out of retirement to solve the mystery of the kidnapping of a senators step son. The book ends on a cliffhanger that really wasn't predictable and sets the stage for the next two books. This is a collection of three short stories that weave together to form one large story with great twists and turns. This book helped me make the decision to continue reading these "Richard Castle" books that loosely tie in the television series to the real world. I love Castle, the character and the series. I have enjoyed the Nikki Heat books and was hoping they would do the Derrick Storm books for all of us fans. This short story, part one of a trilogy, was fun. I loves the names of the characters. I mean April Showers, Samantha Toppers with the large chest, the silly senators son Matthew Dull how much fun can you have with characters. The kidnapping plot had its twists and turns and the final twist left you ready for the second part of the story. I hope they keep the Castle novels coming.
I quite enjoyed this, part 1 of a 3 part series written by Richard Castke.
