Saw a glowing review of this and requested from library. Started it yesterday and it just seemed "off." A police procedural with a female protag and her Pulitzer-winning BF sounded good, but there was something odd about the tone of voice.I checked the info page and it was copyrighted by ABC studios. ????? Published by an imprint of Disney Book Group. ?????That answered it all right there. I have read all the books in this series by "Richard Castle." I believe I have commented that the TV series is far better than these books and this sixth installment was the weakest of all the novels thus far.It was far too complicated with too many characters and a couple of utterly ridiculous escapes. It was almost boring because it moved along so slowly.Pick up the pace, "Mr. Castle" and stop getting so self-involved that you lose track of what you are doing.
LOVE this series so much. highly recommend. its like the cable version of the tv show castle!!
