Very odd book. It took me a while to get into it, but I did about halfway through (although chapter 3 was excellent). There are some very weird and disconcerting moments in the book, not all of which I can see how they contribute to any plot or purpose... However the last half of the book was full of some really nice observations on human experience and emotion, which is why I give it a couple of stars and don't rate this a complete waste of time. Ensimmäinen kirja jonka luin Adrianilta. Shakespeare-friikkinä idea ja kirjan alku tuntui tosi hienoilta. Kesäyön unelmaa mukaileva juoni yhdistää myyttejä ja nykypäivää, lapsen kuolemaa työstäviä vanhempia ja jumalhahmoja, ihmisiä jotka sattuma heittää outoihin tapahtumiin, San Franciscoa ja satumaailmaa. Alun onnettomat ja realistiset nykypäivän hahmot esiteltin koskettavasti. Loppu tuntui kyllä jotenkin kevyeltä alkuasetelmaan nähden.
