This book was a "continuation" of the book Heaven is for Real. Todd and Sonja Burpo, Colton's parents, go over what was written in Heaven is for Real, and accompany excerpts from the first book with scriptures and stories of their lives. It was an inspiring book, and once again I enjoyed reading about what this family does and would love to live in their small town. A question remains though, after reading these books. I would like to know the thoughts of other pastors and priests on this subject. Maybe when the movie comes out this book will be talked about on an even grander scale. This was a quick read (which was a good thing, considering I left my church reading until the last minute...oops). It's written by a pastor and his wife who had a son who became ill and quickly fell into a coma before experiencing a miraculous recovery. This is a follow-up to the first book they wrote about his experience in Heaven while he was asleep. The book is broken up into devotional excerpts that were brief and inspirational. An uplifting read.
