El Cielo Es Real - Edición Ilustrada Para Niños: La Asombrosa Historia De Un Niño Pequeño De Su Viaje Al Cielo De Ida Y Vuelta (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

An uplifting book based on the true events of a young boy who dies and comes back. But that's not the whole story. It's true that he dies, but he goes to heaven. He sees his family and what it's like in heaven but he can't stay,it's not his time and he still has a few years ahead of him. You can choose to believe the events in the book but you don't have to but as for me this book is the total truth. My sister suggested I read this book while I am visiting family here in Colorado. I said okay but really didn't want to read this as it is normally not the kind of book I read.Well, I have read some of the reviews here and I am quite frankly stunned by all the one stars, negative comments, and of course the people who can only express themselves with the use of profanity. This book literally has opened my eyes and heart and makes me believe that there is hope - even if you not a practicing Christian, that God will still accept you into heaven if you accept him into your heart.Well, I have done that with this book. I grew up Catholic but have lost my way over the years. I have suffered through an abusive relationship and am basically all alone. But this story has lifted my spirits. No I will not be seen at every Sunday church service, but now at least I can believe that this life on earth is just the beginning! I am a nanny and I know that little ones do not purposefully lie or try to deceive.Even if it turns out that this is false, I am still happy to have read the book and I choose to believe the following.#1. My Mother, who died when I was 21, is waiting for me in heaven and is still watching and guiding me on Earth.#2. My dogs and cats that have passed by are waiting for me up in heaven. That fact makes me feel so much better because I recently lost my Buddy dog. Now I believe that he is playing and having lots of fun with all my other special furry friends over the years.#3. The baby, that I miscarried, is waiting for me and will know me immediately. I miscarried very early in my pregnancy and never told anyone. Then, when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I felt my chance for children had past. Now I know they did not.But God answered my prayers 10 years later when I was available to adopt Katherine when she was only 10 days old. She is now 20 and the light of my life. Imagine how happy we will all be in heaven. My Mother always used to tell me to believe even when you cannot see.Well, Mother, Colton has helped me see and I do now believe. I look forward to seeing you again! I love you, Mommy!

Some of the greatest mysteries are best left alone. Son of a preacher? C'mon.
